Since its founding in 2013, JOSH TV (formerly Josh Media Group) has been more than just a media platform — we have been a committed voice and partner in humanitarian action, both in Afghanistan and globally.
Through our Charity & Social Impact Initiatives, we have led and supported projects focused on emergency relief, poverty alleviation, education access, and medical aid, especially during moments of national crisis.
Our team has been actively involved in every stage of charitable efforts — from assessment and planning to fundraising, purchasing, and direct distribution — always with transparency and full media documentation to inspire global solidarity and trust.
CWB — Children Without Borders
In partnership with Children Without Borders (a Canada-based nonprofit focused on ending child labor), JOSH TV has supported multiple charity campaigns inside Afghanistan, helping vulnerable children and families access food, clothing, and learning materials.
Hadya Charity Foundation
Working alongside Hadya Charity Foundation, our team has facilitated and documented numerous distributions — providing food, clothing, and essential items to women-headed households and struggling communities across Afghanistan.
JOSH Emergency Relief Campaigns (2021–2022)
Following the fall of Afghanistan in August 2021, JOSH TV launched an urgent response to the unfolding humanitarian crisis. Between October 2021 and July 2022, we:
- Conducted 14 rounds of distribution across several provinces
- Reached over 10,000 people from 1,300 families
- Prioritized aid to women, persons with disabilities, daily wage workers, and those in medical emergencies
- Funded life-saving surgeries and critical medical treatments through donations and global community support
JOSH TV believes in media with a purpose — and our purpose includes shining a light on the struggles and strength of the Afghan people, while mobilizing compassion and action around the world.
